In 2021, residential buildings with a total area of 1 million 430 thousand 300 square meters were put into operation in Tajikistan. This and other construction news was reported at a press conference by the chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mahmadsaid Zuvaidzoda.
The House of Writers
The owners of the «House of Writers» in the center of the city of Dushanbe, which is to be demolished, will be offered compensation and housing.
According to Zuvaidzoda, the demolition of this building will be carried out in accordance with the master plan of the city of Dushanbe. All residential buildings located near «Istikloliyat» park and the «Independence and Freedom» complex in the center of the city will be demolished.
«A final decision has been made to demolish the houses, and this project is at the implementation stage. On the site of the demolished properties, modern high-rise multi-story buildings, road infrastructure and fountains will be built», – the head of the Committee noted.
According to Zuvaidzoda, the owners of these houses will be offered apartments, including in the Zarafshon microdistrict, or monetary compensation at their choice.
Speaking about the «Independence and Freedom» complex, the head of the Committee for Architecture reported that the property is planned to be completed this year. The project was planned to be implemented in honor of the 30th anniversary of the republic’s State Independence (by 2021), but there were delays in the delivery of equipment, including elevators. The elevators are produced in France, and the stones (decorative) in Italy and Turkey.
It was previously reported that the height of the architectural complex «Independence and Freedom» will be 121 meters and that around it, on 29 hectares, the «Istikloliyat» garden (Park) will be built.
The garden will spread out behind the capital’s pedagogical university, the «Avesta» hotel and the «Kohi Vahdat» cinema and concert complex. Flowers, shrubs and rare trees will be planted in the park.
In the new complex, according to the project, a museum and a hall for holding events will be located. The base of the building is an octagonal pyramid consisting of 7 main entrances.
The parliamentary complex
The construction of the new parliament building and the government complex in Dushanbe will be completed in October of next year.
According to the chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of Tajikistan, the construction of the said properties is continuing on schedule, and their commissioning is planned for October 2023.
According to the agency, the future building of Tajikistan’s parliamentary complex will be erected on an area of over 42 thousand square meters, and the government building – on an area of 44 thousand square meters. The projects are being implemented by Chinese companies.
It was previously reported that Tajikistan is exempting from taxes and customs duties the materials and equipment imported into the country intended for the construction of these properties.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, under the memorandum, China will allocate about 1.5 billion yuan for the construction of these properties.
Beg Sabur on the blacklist
The construction company «Komil — 2010», belonging to the head of the country’s Communications Service Beg Sabur, has still not delivered its three «problem properties», the head of the republic’s Committee for Architecture and Construction reported.
«At present the commission is monitoring the process of correcting the shortcomings at the properties around the clock. At the same time, the company has completed correcting the shortcomings in the construction of the property in the capital’s Zarafshon microdistrict and has proposed that the state commission re-inspect it. We are awaiting the commission’s final conclusions», — Zuvaidzoda stated.
According to him, whether the building will be accepted or not will be decided by the commission.
«And for now the construction company continues to correct the errors at the other problem properties that were identified by the state commission», — Mahmadsaid Zuvaizoda noted.
